Now for those robots which are bad and do not adhere to your robots.txt's rules, you'll need to add specific htaccess code.

I recently got allocated a subscription (20 cores) to the Windows Azure cloud, yay! What dawned on me was that I have all these virtual cores but I have no idea how powerful they are. How many effective servers could I construct out of 20 cores? Which lead to me to ask, just how much power am I given with each core? Having some time on my hands, I decided to find out.

Open Logic has made available a 64bit distribution of CentOS 6.3 specifically for Windows Azure. Now right off the bat, ZPanel (and other software) will have issues installing on this version primarily because Open Logic's distribution does not include the kernel header packages.

I'm releasing code in CSharp for the comprehensive reading of SMART registers of a HDD (via WMI) similar to what Crystal Disk or HD Tune report it in. The code below will return the SMART registers for all hard drives, the HDD serial, interface, model numbers and each attribute's current value, worst value, and threshold value including the status of each (OK/BAD) register.

When running the sync framework you may run into a Com Exception similar to the following: Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {EC413D66-6221-4EBB-AC55-4900FB321011} failed due to the following error: 80040154 Class not registered (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG)).

I received the following exception today in my local azure development environment when debugging my application relating to my ApplicationHost.config. The error I received (first time) was "FaultException 1 was unhandled".
